“Red as Green” (2019.) was a contemporary dance performance by Nikolina Dolfić and Lucija Zalović of dance group Tiramola (Split, Croata). Based on the experiment of dance, synchronicity of music and movement it brings mixture of synthetic image and collective consciousness. Red, as a term, can have various meanings such as blood, wine, earthquake. For someone who doesn’t see colors, the perspective changes completely. The function of music is propelling – in addition to the accompanying soundscape, music is an important drive that sets the whole performance in motion.

However, even on its own, music works by conjuring up some secret world. Composed music in this release needed to be edited and remastered because at the time of a production, music was mixed specifically for the acoustics of the small amphitheater in the Youth Center in Split, which is infamous for its acoustics, frequency masking, resonances and echoing.
